What makes some people more productive than others? Listly is a great way for office workers to streamline their repetitive, mundane tasks when it comes to data collection. With Listly’s Auto-Scroll feature, you can automate infinite scrolling actions and get more data from a website. Here’s how it works.

Adapted from American Apparel. Source: American Apparel.

Step 1: Click LISTLY WHOLE to scrape the website

Click LISTLY WHOLE to scrape clothing information from American Apparel.

Listly will take you to the result page once you click the button; you’ll see that 16 products were scraped in total.

Step 2: Update Auto-Scroll settings

Move to DATABOARD and click ADD SETTING.

Change the number of repeating times in the AUTO SCROLL TO LOAD MORE DATA section. You can load more data by increasing the repeat number.

Here, you can set it to 10 times and change the wait time to 3 seconds as below. Click on the SAVE button to navigate to DATABOARD.

Step 3: Hit Refresh and wait for a few seconds (or minutes)

Okay, it’s time to extract product information again. Hit the REFRESH button and wait for a few seconds. It may take some more time, so refresh your browser to check if your data scraping is done.

Step 4: Click Excel to download data

Next up, click the LATEST button and check out your scraping results. If you want to load and scrape more data from the website, you may want to increase the auto action repeat times. One more, you can also download your data into an Excel spreadsheet by clicking the EXCEL button.

Try Listly now and improve work efficiency!
